Taiwan Ratings Appoints New President & CEO

Taiwan Ratings Corp. (TRC) appointed Mr. Eddy Jenn-Long Yang as its new President & CEO at a board of directors meeting held on November 15, 2004.
Mr. Yang joins Taiwan Ratings from JP Morgan Chase Bank in Taiwan, where he was Vice President and Head of Taiwan Trade Sales. Previously, he was Director and Country Head of Bank One Corporation in Taiwan from January 1999 through October 2004. He joined Bank One in April 1995 as Head of Financial Institutions with additional responsibility for the corporate sector. Bank One merged earlier this year with JPMorgan Chase & Company.

Eddy began his 15-year banking career as the Marketing Representative of Philadelphia National Bank (Wachovia Bank), Taipei. One year later he joined Bankers Trust Company (Deutsche Bank), Taipei and served as Assistant Treasurer and Assistant Vice President of Global Institutional Services from June 1991 until April 1995. In addition to his banking experience, Eddy also worked for DHL Taiwan and Scanwell Container Lines in Los Angeles for four-and-a half years beginning in 1986.

Eddy obtained his bachelors degree of management from National Cheng Kung University. He is also a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) with the Association for Financial Professionals, Maryland.
